Lectures from a Silent World is the ultimate night out for anyone fascinated by the underwater world. The evening will dive in to the waters that cover the globe to discover remaining unknowns that are waiting to be found. This will be a night of exploration, encounter and adventure in London’s unique maritime venue.
With original firsts in exploration becoming difficult to achieve, now is the time to start taking note of the wonders below the surface. The world’s greatest peaks have all been climbed. The earth has been circumnavigated many times by every imaginable mode of transport. The majority of the big rivers, lakes and seas have been swum.
Join three of the UK underwater scene’s most inspirational speakers in a night of exploration, encounter and adventure in to a beautiful world below.
Legendary BBC diver and explorer Paul Rose will be joined by Britain’s go–to shark expert, Richard Peirce, and underwater photography guru Paul ‘Duxy’ Duxfield.
Lighthouse Events is transforming this iconic London landmark, producing a breathtaking underwater paradise to showcase the captivating stories delivered by the speakers. However, if this wasn’t enough, the stunning venue will be put to maximum use with the addition of a lively bar where guests can enjoy their drinks to chilled out sounds brought to them by a fantastic DJ.
