Free Kids’ Guide to Trinity Buoy Wharf

23 May 2015 - 31 October 2015

Trinity Buoy Wharf main gate

Free interactive activity guide for kids is now available at Trinity Buoy Wharf.

The book, created by White Wall Yellow Door in partnership with the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust, is available at the main gate to the site.

Situated on the bank of the Thames, Trinity Buoy Wharf is a thriving centre for the arts and creative industries. Home to London’s only Lighthouse and Container City, visitors will also encounter Jem Finer’s 1000 year long musical composition Longplayer, one of London’s smallest museums- The Faraday Effect, and a range of other permanent art installations.

White Wall Yellow Door is an artist run initiative focused on providing museums, galleries, theatres and other cultural establishments with resources for families and children.

“We have designed the drawing activities to help families to engage their children in different qualities that we found so inspiring, both in relation to the sights and the sounds of the river, as well as to some of the ideas explored by the different artworks and installations, where the focus might be on time, tide and navigation as well as the richness of our marine heritage”. Sophy Rickett and Ashley Amery, White Wall Yellow Door
