Free creative activity guide for kids

12 January 2017 - 29 January 2017

Tue- Fri 12pm- 6pm, Sat- Sun 11am- 4pm

The Chainstore, Trinity Buoy Wharf

Free kids' activity guide inspired by Stephen Turner's exhibition, "Everything Comes From The Egg", will be available at Trinity Buoy Wharf during the artist's residency in January 2017.

Children and their families are invited to visit and enjoy the social area within the exhibition with sofas and rugs, and a free 12-page activity booklet designed to educate and engage young visitors. Created by White Wall Yellow Door, the guide is based on some of the ideas Stephen explores through his work, and has been produced to accompany the exhibition.

Stephen says: "I'm looking forward to seeing what younger visitors make of the exhibition. I hope the activity guide inspires them to think about the different ways, even in very urban context, we can connect with our natural environment, including exploring, looking, finding, drawing, listening, making records, foraging, cooking, talking and sharing ideas and experiences".

Stephen will be at the exhibition every day at 4pm available to talk to visitors, look at the drawings they produce, and to hear about their experience of the egg and their local environment.

Each drawing book comes with Kids Eat Free voucher allowing for one free kid’s meal with the purchase of one adult meal (£5 minimum spend) at Bow Creek Café and Free Kid’s Drink with the purchase of one meal at Fat Boy’s Diner at Trinity Buoy Wharf. The offer is valid from 12th to 29th of January 2017.
