Trinity Buoy Wharf Today

Building L, Pier 4 and the Riverside Building

Managed by Urban Space Management Ltd since 1998 this former buoy manufacturing site is now fast becoming an exciting quarter of Docklands and one that has dedicated itself as a centre for the Arts and Creative enterprises.

With the modern and unique lines of the Container Cities set amongst the historic Boiler Maker's Shop, Chainstore and Lighthouse the Wharf's inspiring working environment has seen a stream of photographers, artists, website designers and small businesses settle here and has now developed into a thriving community of like-minded people.

As Trinity Buoy Wharf remains committed to the growth of the arts and creative industries in East London, USM is always pleased to host interesting art exhibitions and productions in the atmospheric exhibition spaces of the basement of the Electrician's Shop, Chainstore or even outside on the Wharf. Past events include 'Time Flows' by Streetwise Opera, an art installation by 'Nomadics' and regular shows by local art students and colleges.

Long running projects include Artangel's 'Longplayer' project in the Lighthouse.
